Kenya
Kenya is not a one-note destination. People come for the wildlife, obviously, and fair enough. But that is only part of it. This is also Indian Ocean coast, old Swahili towns, long dry northern roads, highlands, forests, lakes, escarpments, mountain country, and cities that shift character fast depending on where you are and what time of day you arrive.
This section brings together my travels across Kenya. The obvious places, the less obvious ones, and the roads linking them. National parks, coastlines, remote corners, stopovers, viewpoints, and the kind of places that do not always make the headline but still end up shaping the trip. Taken together, they give a more complete picture of the country than the usual safari shorthand.
